The
UCA provides fully certified registration papers and benefits
to all purebred, full-blooded dogs regardless if the dog's
current registration status. Many purebred dogs through no
fault of their own have lost their registration privileges.
Many of our customers/breeders have stated that its
advantageous to dual register their already registered purebred
dogs with the UCA and have done so in order to offer their
customers a choice of registration as well as the opportunity to
compete with their canine companions in UCA sanctioned events
and enjoy the reliable services and opportunities offered by the
United Canine Association.

The United Canine Association can assist owners of purebred dogs
by helping overcome problems such as lost registration papers.
The UCA can help by reestablishing certified registration and
begin documenting the genetic history of your purebred dog.
The UCA can help guarantee your purebred dog's place of honor in
the rich history of it's breed and open the door to a diverse
world of sanctioned events, opportunities and reliable services
offered by the United Canine Association.
Some of the reasons of lost
registration are:
The owner purchased a puppy and the breeder had not registered
the pups.
The owner lost contact with the breeder before the puppy's
papers were received from the registry.
Breeder's dog was purebred, but papers were lost, even though
the dog was bred to a registered dog, the pups could not be
registered.
The new owner sent the puppy's registration application in too
late and it was canceled.
A dog's original papers were lost and the owner had no idea how
to order a duplicate copy or the information to order it with.

Sample UCA Certificates
Temporary Puppy Certificate - This is the type of
certificate issued when a litter is registered via the UCA.
Each puppy in the litter will receive a "Temporary Puppy
Certificate" that the litter owner (breeder) will sign off
ownership and give to the new owner (buyer), so that they may
then give the pup a registered name, permanently register the
pup and transfer ownership into their name via the UCA.
All information needed to properly fill out this certificate is on the
back of the certificate. At this time the new puppy owner
may select several options on the back of the certificate such
as photo certificates or purchase pedigrees.

UCA Registration Certificate - This is a UCA Registration
Certificate. This certificate is issued by the UCA once /
after the "Temporary Puppy Certificate" is sent to the UCA with
the buyers information such as new owner's name,
address, puppy's registered name. At this time
the pup is issued a UCA permanent registration number.
